HotMoviesForHer Features Columnist From Girlfriends Films

PHILADELPHIA — In an effort to reach out to female users, HotMovies.com said it would feature Sydni Ellis of lesbian studio Girlfriends Films as a weekly columnist on its women’s site, HotMoviesForHer.com.

Ellis, who works for Girlfriends Films as a writer, director and performer, will publish a first-hand account of life in adult entertainment with the aim of dispelling negative rumors held by some women about porn.

“Society has a double standard when it comes watching porn,” HotMoviesForHer Editor-in-chief Monica L said. “Men are expected to watch it, but women should feel ashamed for enjoying it. Many women would never admit that they enjoy porn, and most women who don't enjoy porn have probably not had the opportunity to find movies that turn them on.”

Monica L said it’s great to have Ellis onboard as a columnist because she can offer a female-positive perspective on adult entertainment.

“Women love porn as much as men do, they just don't like porn that insults their intelligence or grosses them out,” Ellis said. “We're dedicated to giving our female fans what they want, and we listen to their feedback. HotMoviesForHer.com is proof that women are coming out of the closet when it comes to loving porn. We've been so happy with the way their fans have responded to our films, that it seemed natural for me to do a column here. They are the only video-on-demand site we've authorized to show our films. We just like what they're about, and they've been a pleasure to work with.”
